Learning about Australia

We learned all about Australia.
We loved learning about all the unique animals such as the platypus, the crocodile, the koala, the kangaroo and the emu.
Ben went to Australia a few years ago.He brought in amazing pictures of the Great Barrier Reef, the outback, crocodiles, diving and kangaroos!!

Anti-Litter calendar competition

We had 2 prizewinners in this years Galway City Council Anti-Litter Calendar competition. Congratulations to Chloe from Ms Gillens . class and to Lucia from Ms Cunninghams class. Their pictures are in this years calendar. The Mayor presented them with their prizes. We had a lovely time at City Hall.

Dolls from around the world: Junior Infants

Today teacher brought some very special toys to school.  These dolls are from countries all around the world. 

There are dolls from Netherlands, Denmark, England, Russia, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, Sweden, The Basque Country and Scotland.
